If this driving force has been generated naturally and from your innermost then it comes under category of intrinsic motivation.Many a time this intrinsic motivation originates from our interest in a particular thing or in the situation when we feel some enjoyment in doing a particular work.The theory of intrinsic motivation says that intrinsic motivation is the most powerful in all types of motivation .

It is just because of the simple reason that If any other people is trying to convince you for a particular thing and on the other hand if your heart is trying to convince you for another thing then needless to say who will win.

Yes you are right ,your heart will win because if something comes from our innersole then our mind will give priority to it.The same thing is in case of intrinsic motivation.This is the reason why experts believe the intrinsic motivation so powerful.
